Skateboarding has had one of the greatest influences on youth culture for decades. Skaters are known to be creative, persistent, and confident. They are not often swayed by others and are loyal to their community. However, it’s no surprise that skateboarding is one of the most individualistic sports in the world. The culture is often characterized by cheap, short-term happiness, a lack of respect for authority, and an exclusive community to only the most talented. There is a huge need for positive adults to walk alongside these kids, no matter where they are at in their faith.
